a strong commitment to tradition whilst striving for development – this is what characterises Deutsche Homöopathie-Union (DHU) in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Founded in 1961 as an affiliate company within the Schwabe Group, DHU has grown into a medium-sized company over the past 40 years employing a staff of more than 400. From our company premises in Karlsruhe we ship homeopathic medicines to our national and international distribution partners and to our representatives.

Wide Product Range
Our product range of homeopathic medicines is more complex than you might think. We process approximately 1,600 starting materials of herbal, animal or mineral origin into different potencies, pharmaceutical forms and pack sizes. This amounts to a range of more than 400,000 available preparations of which the 16,000 most important and common medicines are available ex warehouse for the German market. Preparations which are not in stock are manufactured upon special order and delivered within the shortest possible time. The same quality standards and broad product ranges are also available via our international representatives and affiliates.

Quality – Our Top Priority
DHU feels strongly committed to produce medicines of an outstanding quality. All medicines are manufactured in compliance with the methods described in the German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia (HAB). This means that all dilutions are succussed manually.
 
Research and Development
  In addition to manufacturing high-quality medicinal products we are also engaged in the field of research and development. We continuously develop new preparations whose efficacy and safety are tested in extensive clinical studies.

These efforts, into which we are integrating the latest scientific findings, are an essential part of our company philosophy.
 
International Presence
Already at the end of the 1980s DHU formed an international cooperation with other manufacturers of homeopathic products within the Schwabe group under the name HomInt, an organization which is committed to produce homeopathic products of top quality, engage in scientific research and promote international distribution and acknowledgement of homeopathy as an effective, safe and gentle therapy. Today, HomInt encompasses companies in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, U.S.A., Mexico and India.
